About This Piece

Vintage Design

This relief globe sitting on a dark brown base Bakelite. The meridian is made of metal.
The ball was made of cardboard hand laminated with paper.
The different ridges are elaborately modeled in three dimensions with plaster and then laminated one more time with paper.
