Vintage Design

Very rare original Coccon lamp from the 1960s - the lamp cannot be assigned with certainty - the design and execution are very reminiscent of the designs of the designers Achille & Giacomo Castiglioni or the designs of the company Goldkant-Leuchten Fritz Wauer GmbH & Co. KG .
There are similarities to the lamp from Flos Mod. Taraxacum.

The lamp consists of a metal frame which is covered with a plastic fiber. The final step is to seal the coccon to a smooth surface.
The designer found the inspiration for this technique in silkworms and their pupation, hence the name "Coccon"
The lamp is in very good condition with no damage and normal signs of wear.
