Vintage Design

Zebrano wood is characterized by stripes that resemble zebra skin. In the 20th century, the largest source of Zebrano wood came from the Microberlinia, a tree native to Central Africa (Gabon, Cameroon, Congo). The heartwood is golden yellow with narrow stripes, ranging from dark brown to black. Wood veneer is a technique obtained by peeling the wood from a trunk to obtain a sheet of real wood that will then be cut to the desired dimensions.
