Vintage Design

The design of these armchairs is based on the iconic piece that, in 1934, the spanish architect Josep Torres Clavé devised as part of the furniture that was to house the Pavilion of the Spanish Republic at the 1937 Paris International Exposition, along with Pablo Picasso's Guernica and other works by Alexander Calder or Joan Miró.

Restoration and Damage Details	Heavy signs of use, Patina consistent with age and use, Partially restored, Surface has been polished, Surface has been refinished, Restored: they have been varnished to consolidate the remains of old paint while retaining the original patina. Reinforced and solid structure. Joints do not move despite their years. The rope braid is in very good condition.
