About This Piece

Vintage Design

Sideboard with top cabinet and bar designed by A.A. Patijn for the Dutch furniture factory Zijlstra, 1950s. This sideboard with round side is from the Poly-Z series. The round shapes are very characteristic in the designs of A.A. Patijn. This sideboard has a bar, four dust-free drawers (with round sides, just like Cees Braakman) for easy cleaning, a bookcase and two storage cabinets at the bottom right. The condition is still very good and original condition with light traces of age and use. Material: Wood, veneer, walnut, glass and brass. Dimensions: h x w x d = 130 x 204 x 44 cm. Height sideboard (without top cabinet) 74 cm.
