An African object of great charm.
A trunk of solid Iron wood hollowed out, hammered and carved to create the base of a large mortar of 61 cm in diameter.
The concave surface created allows it to be used as a large bowl but also as a coffee table.
The item is in good condition, has a splendid patina, signs of use and aging which enrich its charm, a perfect element for a Wabi Sabi style decor.
