Robert Picault (1919-2000) Ceramist of genius, having worked closely with Picasso and Roger Capron, he created his own alquifoux (mixture of lead and sand sulfide) and put in point this very personal style inspired by the Muslim Middle Ages with Geometric patterns drawn, in bichromy, blue and manganese and especially green and manganese. He created a factory to honor the controls of Aga Khan. Personal parts are signed "Picault" in all letter, after his departure the industrial parts are signed "RP"
