Artona bed in walnut and leather designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for the Maxalto company, Italy, 1970s The Artona line by Afra and Tobia Scarpa was the first line produced by Maxalto, the specialized division of B&B Italia. This bed with an iconic design convinces with its sinuous construction and its remarkable geometric shapes. The delicate lines of the walnut frames add a constructive and decorative touch to the design. An admirable detail is the platform edge made of leather, which emphasizes its luxurious appeal.
