Vintage Design

Outstanding early 20th Century French Solomonic twisted column, hand-carved of oakwood.
The column features a thick spiral twisted shaft repeatedly carved in fine detail with meandering grapes, vine leaves, and birds. Column terminates with a round top, decorated with four Caryatids.
Carved base with massive paw feet.
Dimensions: Diameter 40 cm / 15.74 in; height 136 cm / 53.54 in.
