About This Piece

Man In Profile is an original pencil drawing on ivory paper realized by Flor David in the 1950s. This is an original drawing representing an interesting male portrait. Good conditions except for some light stains on paper visible in backlight. Flor David (Paris 1891-1958) pseudonym of David Florence. Pastel painter. she was a pupil of Desirè Lucas. She exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais since 1923 and had honorable mention at Prix Leonie Dussueil in 1934. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
