About This Piece

Vintage Design

French sofa group canape and 2 Bergeren, circa 1900. Solid beechwood, carved and partly gilded. Semicircular rising, curved backrest framing. Centered medallion decorated with an amphora and garland Appropriately curved frame with richly carved foliage. Seat and backrest are finished with a historical, classic upholstery. The fabric cover is covered with a beautiful floral satain cover. Measure: Seat height: 52 cm (B-151). Wear consistent with age and use.
