Solid birch in the frame and all natural materials in the upholstery. Choose between a fixed back or pillows, which creates an expression where the frame's wood becomes more visible. Stand By Me consists of a few parts that can be varied to many different situations and functions. Storängen Design In early 2017 Mårten Cyrén and Torbjörn Källberg established Storängen Company – an idea 15 years in the making. In the fall of 2020 Mårtens son Carl replaced Torbjörn as CEO and co-owner. Together they continue to collaborate with a well-established network of designers, craftsmen and makers, and further develop a portfolio of furniture based on timeless ideals and modern Scandinavian design. Such as Storängen. A bold and charismatic offspring of the classic Windsor chair with uncompromising functionality and craftsmanship. The product that gave the company its name and with it came a simple idea: creating a direct and honest link between the craftsmen making the furniture, and the professional and private buyers they were intended for.
