Vintage Design

In a typically Midcentury formal spirit, this beautiful ceramic cut is a production of the CAB workshops (Bordeaux art ceramics). The enamel is treated in a two -tone, contrasting and shiny way. The shape is moving, released from any formal constraint. Vacux, bathroom storage, this ceramic will bring its 50 ′ touch and its freed spirit to the decorative atmosphere!

The two -color cup is stamped CAB for Bordeaux art ceramic on the back.

13-16cm in diameter, 6cm high.

In 1918, Jean Mérillon bought pottery in Caudéran on the outskirts of Bordeaux. In 1919 he founded the C.A.B. Bordeaux art ceramics. CAB will have an avant-garde production, tinged with Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and will participate in the great Primavera adventure by producing pieces for the Printemps department stores.
