Black Along birch sofa by Storängen Design Dimensions: D 52 x W 150 x H 87 x SH 45 cm Materials: birch wood. Also available in other colors and with seat cushion. Along can be as long as you want to be. Each module is manufactured separately - just specify the desired length and we will work out the rest to create a perfect fit. The bumps in the seat is not only a beautiful detail, it makes room for a spoke with steeper angle for increased ridigity. To further improve comfort, Along can be ordered with an optional seat cushion in a leather or fabric of your choice. Storängen Design In early 2017 Mårten Cyrén and Torbjörn Källberg established Storängen Company – an IDEA 15 years in the making. In the fall of 2020 Mårtens son Carl replaced Torbjörn as CEO and co-owner. Together they continue to collaborate with a well-established network of designers, craftsmen and makers, and further develop a portfolio of furniture based on timeless ideals and modern Scandinavian design. Such as Storängen. A bold and charismatic offspring of the Classic Windsor chair with uncompromising functionality and craftsmanship. The product that gave the company its name and with it came a simple IDEA: creating a direct and honest link between the craftsmen making the furniture, and the professional and private buyers they were intended for.
