Vintage Design

A rare & elegant Murano glass set. This handblown pitcher with four matching tumblers showcases the Bullicante technique (controlled bubbles), enriched with delicate gold trim at the rim and base. Italy, c. 1940s–1950s.

The refined proportions and gilded detailing align with designs produced in the ateliers of Barovier & Toso, Venini, and other leading Murano furnaces of the 1940s–1950s. This makes the set stylistically versatile — bridging Italian Modernism with timeless classical elegance, with a touch of luxury.

The pitcher features a flared rim and applied handle, while the tumblers are finely balanced, their thin walls giving them an understated sophistication rarely seen in heavier postwar production.
