Vintage Leather Chairs from Dreipunkt, 1970s, Set of 2

We are offering two charismatic vintage leather armchairs with tufted details – original pieces from the late 1960s to early 1970s.

* We attribute the design to the then-renowned leather manufacturer DREIPUNKT, which at that time designed and produced seating under the management of COR.

* These are very high-quality, exceptionally comfortable leather armchairs. Each one stands on two casters, making them easy to move.

* In our opinion, the design is a perfect fit for Mid-Century Modern and Space Age styles.

* This offer is for two identical armchairs.

* We find the armchairs to have a beautiful patina.

* The leather is a slightly darker milk chocolate brown…

+ We also have a matching 2-seater sofa listed in another ad +

CONDITION
The armchairs are in good, well-maintained vintage condition with very acceptable signs of age on the leather surface.

There are no serious, deep-seated damages, such as large stains or tears in the leather. However, upon closer inspection, some minor signs of wear are still visible, typical patina…

+ The leather upholstery shows some minor color variations due to age and light exposure, surface scratches, a few roughened areas, slight abrasions, and a few very small nicks (mostly sharp-edged) – especially in areas of higher wear, particularly on the armrests. There are fine surface cracks/craquelure on the armrests – some more pronounced than others. This is often found on older, pigmented leathers. The small cracks are only on the top layer of leather and not deep; however, we consider them part of the charm of a vintage leather sofa and contribute to the look of a beautifully patinated vintage leather sofa. :-)

+ Additionally, there is a small crack on one armrest of an armchair – which the previous owner had already repaired with leather glue (see photo 17 above).

+ The upholstery is also still in good condition and firm.

...The signs of wear are mostly only noticeable upon closer inspection and are not significant. The overall impression is good and well-maintained.

+ The item has been conscientiously, thoroughly, and professionally treated with high-quality cleaning and care products.

Therefore, it is ready for immediate use and can be enjoyed for a long time without any further maintenance.
