About This Piece

Vintage Design

The Bermudas stool is an iconic piece of 1980s Spanish design. Designed by architect Carlos Miret and produced by Amat in 1986, its postmodern aesthetic and geometric structure make it a unique and decorative piece. It features a black lacquered steel frame, a perforated metal seat, and supports finished with plastic balls.

Miret designed the Bermudas series for the Catalan firm Amat as part of the renovation project of the former Fish Market, now the Delicias Civic Center in Zaragoza. This collection, now considered a cult classic, reflects his postmodern vision and his commitment to functional and durable design.
