Vintage Design

Gorgeous exclusive French Cristal de Sevres, crystal decanter and glasses handcrafted from high quality crystal that produces a brilliant sparkle.

Original design for this very elaborate carafe with its rotating base from the Sully collection.
The design induces a very graphic twisting effect.
This pattern present in the base of the carafe is also found in the cap.

The attractive 4 glasses are from the Monge collection and are delightfully embellished with a tactile and geometric design.

All signed, in acid-etch on the base.

It was on the initiative of Madame de Pompadour that the cristallerie de Sèvres appeared in 1750, originally intended mainly for the court of King Louis XV.
The Sèvres glassworks collections are considered the crown jewels.
In a century and a half, Cristal de Sèvres and its luxurious glasses have definitively won over fans of French tableware: the contemporary aesthetic of the pieces produced and their timeless elegance add up to a work crystal without equivalent.
