An incredible lamp signed Bernard Rooke (born in 1938). This lamp was created in the 1970s. It is made of sandstone. It is decorated with small snails.

Bernard Rooke was born in 1938 and studied ceramics at Goldsmiths College, London. In 1960, he opened a workshop in Forest Hill. Rooke carried out progressive sculptural work and the first pieces were shaped by hand using rollers and blocks. His work can be found in private collections as well as museums and galleries around the world, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
