Vintage Design

Stag bedroom furniture for sale, a blonde satin wood bedroom set made in the 1960s. Comprising of a four-drawer chest with matching metal ring pull handles and matching framed vanity mirror over and a bedside unit to match. The bedside unit has one drawer, and one door with matching metal ring pull handles, and both units have glass surface protectors. The set was made in England by Stag Furniture makers, Waterloo Way, Leicester. The company was registered as trading from 1962 until it dissolved in 2015. During their 10-year partnership with British furniture company Stag, John and Sylvia Reid created some of their most memorable designs. The Council of Industrial Design chose their first bedroom furniture collection for the Design Index. Today their legacy lives on with Dominic Reid, who runs a foundation in their name.
