The Lid Is Decorated with Marble And Agate Geometric Motifs.
with Continental Silver Binding & Original Working Key.

Interior features original marbleised decorative paper.

In the middle of the 19th century, the bathing industry experienced a significant boom. with his publications about the Bohemian baths and the effects of their medicinal waters, the balneologist and imperial personal physician Josef von Löschner helped Karlsbad to flourish as a health resort of world renown. The decisive factor for this was the connection to the European railway network in 1870. Initially, operations began on the Karlovy Vary – Eger route and shortly afterwards the Prague – Karlovy Vary route followed.
