Teak Secretaire by Johannes Sorth for Bornholms Møbelfabrik, 1960s About This Piece Vintage Design This tall Danish chest of shelves with pull out desk is made from a pressed wood teak veneer composite. Made in the late 60s, this chest of shelves was aimed for city folk that needed to combine living space functionality as much as possible. The pull out desk is not very big but allows for one to create a working space within a few seconds. The desk is finished with style by a facetted edge and three small drawers for a playful twist. Beneath the desk there are two sliding doors with very elegant small solid wood carved grips. These sliding doors open up to a horizontal storage space.
