This is a tall antique scroll painting. A Japanese, silk cotton rolling wall panel, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

Of excellent proportion, at a length of 6' 6''
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Set upon a silk cotton cloud pattern scroll, in a delightful shimmering green
Sat amongst a blooming chrysanthemum, a small bird painted in watercolours
The whole rolls away neatly, and is dressed with a cotton loop for wall hanging
