Setting the Perfect Summer Table

Looking for a new piece or two for your next summertime dinner party? Our Shop is full of beautiful options for such an occasion. Many of our favorites happen to have been designed by grads from the Royal College of Art—that venerable London-based institution that, seemingly like magic, brings forth outstanding designers year after year. Tap those creative juices and serve up some advanced design thinking.

First, a table guaranteed to be a conversation starter! We love Peter Marigold's ingenious half cast/half mold Osso Table.

Next: the dishes, of course. We can't get enough of Eyal Burstein's Homemaker collection for 1882 Ltd. It features—what else?—illustrations of breakout designs by a roster of 2006 RCA grads  (Glithero, Max Lamb, Joe Malia, Peter Marigold, Oscar Narud, Raw Edges, Study O Portable, and of course, Burstein himself).

Serving ware is key. Why not look to Max Lamb's versatile Crockery set?

And what's a dinner setting without a lovely vase? We adore this vase by Glithero—alone or in multiples.

And finally, for that after-dinner coffee, Konstantin Grcic's your man with this perfect set. (He really is the man.)
