Segno Italiano specializes in the modern manufacture of traditional and historically important Italian, artisanal pieces. For the (customizable!) gold-plated copper Casseruola Bombata Oro and the silver-plated copper Casseruola Bombata Argento, the design editors collaborated with skilled craftspeople in northern Italy who specialize in transforming shapeless masses of copper into valuable cooking tools—essential to a culture of good food. Brazilian designer Bruno Jaharra's Multiplastica Domestica Collection features super colorful vessels made from plastic litter collected by the cooperative National Recycling Group in Sāo Paulo.
