Milan's Galleria Luisa Delle Piane made a great splash this past week with Checkpoint, an exhibition by conceptual artist Andrea Anastasio. Featuring imaginative designs and installations inspired by the notion of military checkpoints (and, more broadly, the concept of "opposing parties" coming into contact with one another), highlights include a daring series of porcelain vases surrounded by stuffed pouches and curvaceous, glass flowerpots chock-full of colorful, plastic shopping bags. As Ambra notes, "I LOVE this show!"
