A graceful French wine jug in silver, the subject of subtle stylizations and allusions to the time of Henry of Nvarre. A pear-shaped body of glass with delicate engraved foliage is woven into the openwork become of the neck belts. The bravo hilt rests on the waist of the pitcher for a graceful silhouette. Whimsical forms of vegetation and waves are woven into a handle and grow into a neckline and openwork belts. The intoxicating vine motif is everywhere. At the base it sounds with a bagpipe and a tambourine. There is a bunch of grapes on the lid. On the lid and body there are French hallmarks of 950 silver (since 1878). The head of Mercury with the number 1 in the hexagon. The brand of the master is in a diamond on the body and at the base. PC & Cie. Paul Buoton & Cie. Known in 1896-1904. Total weight: 940 gr.
