Two elegant silver centerpieces on a three-pass base with delicate embossed decoration and three winged lion figures supporting the richly ornamented and pierced insert for the projecting, artfully cut glass bowls. The Bruckmann company produced numerous precious silver objects designed by well-known designers. The company existed until 1973. - KNEWITZ - Design/Distribution, Sales, founded in 1834 by Jakob KNEWITZ in Mainz, Establishment of a silverware manufactory under his son Fritz, supplied the Russian imperial court, was henceforth allowed to call himself court jeweler for Hesse-Darmstadt.
