About This Piece

Vintage Design

This sideboard was manufactured in the 1950s.

It has undergone a thorough renovation: all old layers have been removed, and the beautifully grained walnut veneer is finished with an amber-colored hardwax oil with a delicate satin sheen. The doors with rounded sides are covered with a contemporary op art motif paint, designed and handcrafted by Katarzyna Malińska (www.czlowiekzkomodo.com).

The sideboard has been renovated and finished in accordance with the principles of the upcycled vintage trend, with the rest complemented by my artistic vision.

All treatments were performed using traditional methods, preserving the aesthetics of the period from which the furniture originated, supporting the zero-waste concept.
