About This Piece

Vintage Design

This Siesta 62 comes in the classic black leather version with an ottoman. The chair displays an attractive patina, acquired over the years, which lends this classic German lounge chair of the Mid-Century Modern era an exceptional aura. The chair swivels and rests on a solid, heavy, gently tulip-shaped turntable. The leather of the backrest and armrests shows slight signs of wear. The down-filled cushions provide excellent seating comfort.

The sheer dimensions and angles of this chair still impress today, making this Siesta 62 one of the most attractive chairs of the 1960s.
