Vintage Design

Very rare ‘Serena’ side chair by Giuseppe Davanzo for Appiani Selesione (Italy, 1960s). A sculptural and playful design by Italian architect and designer Giuseppe Davanzo, the Serena chair perfectly captures the experimental spirit of 1960s Italian modernism. The chair features a white molded plastic seat and backrest, contrasted by a solid ash wood frame. The combination of organic curves and warm natural wood creates a striking silhouette. This example remains in good vintage condition, showing visible signs of use consistent with age. The wear contributes to its authentic character and does not detract from its structural integrity.
