1960s Fully Restored Bjorn Wiinblad Coffee Table with Tiled Table Top.
The uniqe circular table by the Danish acclaimed multi-artist Bjørn Wiinblad (1918-2006) has a total of no less than 97 tiles on the table top. Each of the 97 have their individual combination of patterns that you see used on other tiles in other combinations and in shifting intensity of the overall blue colour all in a sophisticated pattern that narrow towards a large central circular tile in the middle of the table.
Bjørn Wiinblads signature can be found on one of the tiles.
The tiles are unharmed and the frame of the table that is made of wenge wood has been restored and refinished by our master cabinetmaker to ensure that the table is in in excellent condition.
