About The Adventures of Tintin

The original title in French is Les Aventures de Tintin et Milou, and it is one of the most famous European comic series of the 20th century. Its author, Georges Remi "Hergé" (1907-1983), used characteristics of the graphic and narrative style known as "clear line." The series consists of 24 albums published from 1930 to 1976.

The stories narrate the travels of reporter Tintin with his dog Snowy. Throughout their adventures, secondary characters appear who have become true celebrities in the world of Tintin lovers, such as Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, the singer Bianca Castafiore, and the detectives Hernandez and Fernandez.

Hergé set the stories in both real and imaginary places. In The Blue Lotus, the author meticulously researched all the places his characters visited.
