Stories of Italy is a Milan-based duo dedicated to making beautiful, contemporary pieces that honor Italy's historical and cultural heritage. Their blown-glass Siena dessert plates were inspired by Siena's coat-of-arms, dating between 1500 and 1700. In making this beautiful series, Stories of Italy embraced Murano's legendary glassblowing tradition. Each handmade plate was conceived and designed as a precious cockade, and the glass design's fluidity and hand-finished edges were intended to give the impression of round fabric remnants. During the final step of the process, each plate is soaked in crystals, bringing out the delightful shades and transparency in color.
Siena is sold as a set of four plates. The color may also be customized upon request. Just get in touch with the Pamono team for more info.
