The Space Age Model 9944 Flash Gordon Pendant by Stig Ahlström & Clas Kock for Atelje Lyktan, Sweden, 1980s is a signature creation by renowned designers Stig Ahlström and Clas Kock for the legendary Swedish lighting company Atelje Lyktan, designed in 1983. This futuristic ceiling light represents an exceptional example of 1980s design thinking, which combined technological innovation with a spirit of formal experimentation. Stig Ahlström and Clas Kock were among the most prominent designers in Atelje Lyktan's history, creating an impressive series of innovative lamps, including the concurrently developed Skarabé range, which demonstrates the productivity and experimentation of this design partnership.
It captivates with its geometric elegance and distinctive futuristic character, featuring four stacked circular acrylic glass panels that create a dynamic, sculptural presence.
