Refined Iconic wall lamps by Danish renowned architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. Lauritzen (1894-1984) designed these lamps amongst other lamps and furnishings for the Danish broadcasting radio building ‘Radiohuset’ located at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen in collaboration with Finn Juhl between 1936-1941. A functionalist design that was executed from exclusive materials as marble, dark mahogany, brass and even cowhide was used on the ceiling of the lobby. The building is now regarded as one of the most important treasures in Danish architectural history. These lamps (model 10630) are executed from brass and hold a hemisphere shaped opaline glass diffuser. The lamps can be used in two positions: they can be mounted upwards and downwards.
