Vintage Design

Neoclassical Vanity Box, Walnut with Inlays, Velvet Interior, from South Germany circa 1900. Solid walnut body. Lid inlaid with ebony, maple, and burl wood. Slightly sloping at the edges. On the front, a vase-shaped ebonized and inlaid key plate . Brass hinges. Functional original brass lock with 2 bolts and 1 key. Interior lined with purple velvet, featuring multiple compartments and fully removable. Restored condition, hand-polished with shellac.
