About This Piece

Vintage Design

Timeless large coffee table designed in 1962 by the famous Italian architect Ico Parisi and produced by Figli di A. Cassina. The solid walnut frame is ingeniously constructed and shows a variety of connections that together form a layering. We see double dowel connections on each leg, which in turn are positioned asymmetrically from each other. Raised edges ensure that the glass top remains fixed to the frame. The coffee table is in excellent original vintage condition, really nice patina. It has been checked and cleaned. The wood surface has been polished. It preserve the original thick 2 (cm) green Nile glass top, which shows minor signs of aged and use. The Cassina label also appears on the bottom of the frame.
