Vintage Design

This pair of “360” model armchairs was designed by Janusz Różański in 1959 and manufactured by the Dolnośląska Fabryka Mebli in Świebodzin.The design represents a significant period in Polish Mid-Century Modernism, balancing early mass production with high-quality craftsmanship. This model is highly sought after by collectors and is rarely seen on the secondary market, making it a very difficult piece to acquire.

The set has undergone a complete restoration to ensure both aesthetic and structural integrity.
A distinctive feature of this design is the rounded shape of the backrest, which is perfectly complemented by the curvature of the wooden armrests.
These armrests have been finished with a walnut veneer in strict accordance with the original specifications.
The metal leg frames have been professionally re-chromed to restore their original finish, and they are finished with turned wooden elements.
The internal seat padding has been replaced, while the original spring system was retained to preserve the authentic seating experience. The armchairs are upholstered in a high-quality linen-blend fabric that matches the modernist aesthetic, features a sophisticated, multi-toned weave in shades of beige and brown, creating a subtle, organic pattern.
These pieces are excellent examples of 20th-century furniture design.
