About This Piece

Vintage Design

Mid-Century, Vintage, Scandinavian-Style, Nightstand, Circa 60's.

This beautiful nightstand with a rather unique design, is made of wood, with a sapele veneer and a lacquered finish. (see photo.)

Piece rests upon black-colored, wooden, spindled-shaped legs. The legs, have nicely designed brass-colored leg tips.

The 2 side panels are slightly higher than the top, with an "arrowhead" design at the front.

The front of the piece, has a fully functional curved shape drawer (measuring at H: 6cm x W: 51.5 cm x D: 21 cm) with a brass-colored pull knob (see photos.)

Piece is in overall, good, original vintage condition. There are a few marks, scuffs( micro scratches) on the top. A few small marks/ tiny lack of veneer on the edging of the rear top( see photos next to 1 cent coin for perspective) , as well as 1 mark on the arrowhead of the upper left corner of side panel (see photo.) A small mark, on the lower, middle of the trim below the drawer (see photo.)
Light marks of previous usage and age, on the legs (see photos) and a really nice patina of time, on the overall structure.

Piece is solid, stable and heavy.

A maker's mark is present inside the drawer.
