Vintage Design

This is a pair of classic mid-century modern vintage porcelain wall sconces for bathrooms. with a cool Bauhaus inspired iconic design, produced in the 50s by IFÖ, Sweden. The lamps have a porcelain base in a fantastic warm mustard or honey color and two opal glass shades. Scandinavian mid-century modern sleek lighting, the designer behind these lamps was the talented Hans-Agne Jakobsson who became a well-known designer, illustrator as well as an industrial designer. He won many awards, and his items can be seen museums worldwide, much of his design focused on everyday items such as these lamps, with the focus on being both functional and beautiful. The lamps have a very modern feeling to them, partly due to the elegant and timeless vintage design as well as the amazing color.

They are 22cm high (8.66") and around 11cm in diameter ( 4.33") and they sit around 12cm (4.72") from the wall. These lamps are in an excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.

NOTE: that the lamps uses Edison screw bulbs and they come with the original metal brackets, making them ready to be mounted. These lamps requires professional hard-wiring and made for wet areas such as bathrooms.
