Vintage Design

A beautiful and rare pair of Mid-Century Modern ceramic vases by Carstens Tönnieshof, designed by Helmut Scholtis.

These pieces feature the highly sought-after Ankara décor in cyan blue and graphite grey with a satin matte finish. Handmade in West Germany, circa 1960s.

Lower vase (form code: 236-23):
Height: 23 cm / 9.06 in
Diameter: 19 cm / 7.48 in

Both pieces bear the original West Germany markings and form codes. Excellent examples of collectible West German art pottery.
