About This Piece

Vintage Design

Wall lamp by Fernand Elchinger (1911-1975). Ferdinand Elchinger, son of the Elchinger Céramistes dynasty, which had been producing ceramics in Souffleheim, Alsace, since 1834. Inspired by Art Deco and Bauhaus, Fernand Elchinger developed the modern and abstract forms of his ceramic vessels over the years, developing them from the Elchinger Céramistes' original purely functional objects into works of art at the cutting edge of his time.

Signature "Elchinger France" on the back of the mask (see images). This object comes with a cable and light bulb. Two pieces are available; please contact us if you are interested in both.
