About This Piece

Vintage Design

Marcello Cuneo Brass Dining Set with Round Glass Table and Folding Chairs, Italy, 1970s A rare and elegant dining set designed by Marcello Cuneo in the 1970s, Italy. This collectible five-piece ensemble includes four folding chairs and a round dining table, all constructed in brass with a natural finish, showcasing Cuneo’s signature balance of minimalist form and mechanical ingenuity. The folding chairs feature an iconic X-frame structure, allowing them to fold flat while maintaining a strong sculptural presence when open. The brass surfaces have developed a warm, natural patina, giving the set a rich vintage character. Upholstered seats and backs provide comfort while keeping the silhouette clean and architectural. The matching round table is supported by an intersecting brass base and topped with clear glass, creating visual lightness and offering a full view of the geometric structure below.
