Antique bouillotte/game table with reversible top - marquetry.

French Furniture
Louis XVI style bouillotte table with marquetry stopper. It opens with two drawers and two pull-out slides. The tabletop features a checkers board, while the stopper has a leather cover on one side and decorative marquetry depicting a countryside scene on the other. Varnished finish, circa 1900.
Charming antique game table in finely crafted wood, mahogany veneer and marquetry of various woods. Resting on four elegant tapered legs. Its removable top offers a particularly desirable dual function: one side decorated with delicate marquetry featuring a central pastoral motif, and the other transformed into a chessboard for convivial gaming sessions.

The rim also features beautiful geometric marquetry, highlighting the craftsmanship of the piece. A small integrated drawer provides storage for pieces or accessories. This table combines aesthetics and practicality, perfect as an end table, side table, or occasional table with an authentic and warm touch.
