Pair of Louis XVI style armchairs in gilt wood standing on four tapered, flued legs adorned with leaves and topped by joints with rosacea decor. Slightly bulged apron adorned with a swirled ribbon and small flowers. Arm supports on the leg line adorned with triglyphs and leaves. Arms with manchettes with volute shape handle and adorned with leaves. Medallion shape back adorned with the same apron decor and also flowers and a knot on the top. Seat, back and manchettes covered with an Aubusson tapestry with a cream background and a decor of flowers baskets. Work realized circa 1880. Slightly used tapestry due to time and use. Dimensions: H 93 x W 60 x D 52 cm.
