Vintage Design

This exquisite pair of Louis XV style armchairs captures the grace and romance of 18th-century French design, crafted in the 20th century with the same dedication to detail and ornament.

The frames are hand-carved in solid wood and feature a soft cream patina with subtle gilt highlights, enhancing their sculptural elegance. Rococo-inspired floral motifs adorn the apron and legs, adding rhythm and relief to their refined silhouette.

The upholstery is a stunning floral brocade, rich in detail and delicately shimmering in tones of ivory, gold, soft pink, and powder blue. Bouquets in urns, arabesques, and floral garlands celebrate a heritage of decorative arts rooted in Versailles elegance and salon intimacy.

Both armchairs are in solid structural condition.
Note: some faint moisture marks are visible on the seats of both chairs. These time-born nuances, though discreet, reflect the authenticity of vintage fabric and its story.
