This set of three diamond plates is made of Murano glass by Stories of Italy, a Milan-based studio dedicated to making beautiful, contemporary pieces that honor Italy's historical and cultural heritage. According to the designers, this striking dinnerware set was inspired by the geometric motif of the cube found on the floors of the most lavish house in Pompeii. The colors chosen recreate the floor's elegant illusion of depth. Each Losanga (or diamond) is created using four slab layers that are then combined by hand. Arranged in groups of three, in pairs, or even alone, they are at once visually inspiring and fully functional objects—ideal for serving finger food, biscuits, pastries, sushi, cheese platters, and more—as well as a wonderful way to add a jolt of color to the dinner table.
