Vintage Design

Thonet coat stand, Austria, early 20th century. Made of beech with three feet supporting the central upright on which 3 hangers rest, branded under the leg. Thonet is the most important company and the first to produce bent beech furniture using the steam technique. It will be followed and imitated by numerous companies.
