Vintage Design

Made in circa 1940s, this original 10K Bardwell & McAlister film spotlight, made in Hollywood, California, is an authentic piece of cinematic history. The real deal and extremely rare! A rare survivor from the golden age of Hollywood. This particular piece has been used on the big studio production company Paramount Pictures.

Marked with the iconic “Paramount Electric Dept.” stencil, this spotlight carries the legacy of classic filmmaking. These lights were the backbone of studio cinematography, used to shape the look of legendary films.

Unlike most surviving examples, this piece has been carefully preserved and thoughtfully adapted for modern use, without compromising its authenticity.

Historical Significance:
Manufactured by Bardwell & McAlister, one of the most respected names in early Hollywood lighting, this 10K Fresnel spotlight was built for professional studio use, not decoration.

These fixtures were used on:

History Paramount Pictures:
